March against hunger Snohomish County Food Drive raises more than three tons

Each year, Snohomish County employees spend the month of March collaborating to raise money and collect food to help serve their community through their ‘March Against Hunger’ event.

Each year, Snohomish County employees spend the month of March collaborating to raise money and collect food to help serve their community through their ‘March Against Hunger’ event. The food collected and the money raised is donated to Volunteers of America Western Washington to distribute to food banks all throughout the County.

Each department works together to strategize how they will creatively raise money and collect food so they can make an impact on their neighbors in need. This year, Snohomish County Employees had their best year ever, collecting 6,648 pounds of food and $44,688.90.

Volunteers of America Western Washington, on behalf of the families we serve, graciously thanks all of the employees of Snohomish County for their support, passion, and dedication to helping feed vulnerable families in Snohomish County.
