The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The King County Sheriff’s Office blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kenmore.
Between Nov. 21 and Nov. 28, there were five thefts, three burglaries, three assaults, one incident involving illegal drugs, one incident of drunkenness and one warrant served.
Dec. 27
Assault: 3:52 p.m., 7600 block of NE 202nd Place; A woman reported that she was assaulted by her adult sister in the early morning hours of Dec. 27.
Dec. 28
Trespass: 10:24 p.m., 6100 block of NE Bothell Way; A man was trespassed from Jack in the Box after allegedly stealing money from a co-worker and a safe. The man had been fired, but no one told him. The business asked he be trespassed.
Dec. 29
Burglary: 3:46 p.m., 6100 block of NE 203rd St.; A subject called to report missing XBox games and a watch. There was no sign of forced entry into the house, but nails and staples had recently been found in tires of vehicles in the driveway.
Dec. 30
Assault: 5:56 p.m., 16300 block of 69th Ave. NE; A man, his wife and their son were involved in a domestic assault which ended in the man throwing a spoon at his wife. The man was arrested for assault.
Burglary: 8:26 p.m., 18500 block of 66th Ave. NE; Unknown suspects stole a wallet, a laptop, a cell phone and jewelry after entering through an open door. The daughter of the homeowner was present during the burglary, but did not leave her room.
Dec. 31
Warrants: 5:11 a.m., 6500 block of NE 181st St.; A man was booked into King County Jail for an outstanding Department of Corrections escape warrant, without bail. The man was found sleeping in his car in the Kenmore Library parking lot.
