Man arrested after stabbing girlfriend with knife | Kenmore police blotter

Someone reported finding a bomb-like device at the entrance to Wallace Swamp Creek Park near the parking lot area.

Suspicious package: 19800 73rd Ave. N.E., 7:30 a.m. Someone reported finding a bomb-like device at the entrance to Wallace Swamp Creek Park near the parking lot area.

Oct. 14

Shoplifting: 6850 N.E. Bothell Way, 2:29 p.m. A female shoplifter caused a disturbance with Safeway store personnel. She hid items in her clothing and purse and attempted to exit the store without paying for the items.

Oct. 15

Suspicious Circumstances: Northeast 162 Place and Simonds Road, 4:58 a.m. Police contacted two males who had a hacksaw, airsoft gun, glass cutter and pliers.

Vandalism: 6910 N.E. 170th St., 9:41 a.m. An unknown suspect tagged the walls and doors of the public restrooms at Rhododendron Park.

Oct. 16

Court order violation: 8200 block of N.E. 185th St, 2:40 p.m. A police officer was dispatched to a residence for a reported protection order violation. The victim said she came home and found some roses on her front porch, delivered by Bothell Florist.

Oct. 17

Burglary: 1900 block of 62nd Ave. N.E., 3:01 p.m. An unknown suspect forced entry into a residence by smashing in the rear door. Items stolen include a laptop, backpack, several pieces of jewelry and two piggy banks.

DUI: 6600 block of N.E. 181st St., 11:32 p.m. A man was arrested for DUI and had a blood alcohol content of .130 and .116.

Oct. 18

Burglary: 1500 block of 4th Ave. N.E., 12:20 p.m. An unknown suspect kicked in the side door to a house and stole jewelry.

Mail theft: 18200 block of 58th Ave. N.E., 12:20 p.m. The victim’s mail was taken from her street mailbox. She had a tracking number and verified it was delivered by the USPS.

Assault: 6400 block of N.E. 185th St., 4:20 p.m. A man was arrested for punching his son after they got into an argument about the son wanting money.

Oct. 19

Assault: N.E. 175th St. and 68 Ave. N.E., 2:04 a.m. A man was arrested for second-degree assault after stabbing his girlfriend with a knife.
