July 27
A 15-year-old male, residing at the Emerald Villa apartments along Northeast Bothell Way, lost his temper over video games and got into his mother’s face. According to records, pushing was involved.
An abandoned vehicle was reported near the 18200 block of 58th Ave NE.
June 28
A male was arrested near the intersection of Northeast Bothell Way and 60th Avenue Northeast for a DUI [driving under the influence] accident. The suspect ran from the vehicle following the accident and ran down into the embankment. During a preliminary breath test (PBT), the suspect was recorded as 0.170 out the 0.08 allowed under law. The man was sent to Swedish in Edmonds for mental health evaluation.
A woman got her purse stolen while shopping at the St. Vincent De Paul, located at 7304 NE Bothell Way.
A male caused an alcohol-related disturbance on a metro bus near the intersection of Northeast 170th Street and Juanita Drive. He was taken off the bus and sent to a hospital for detoxification.
July 29
A person was arrested at the intersection of Northeast Bothell Way and 60th Avenue Northeast for driving under the influence of alcohol. The person was arrested and a search warrant obtained to test their blood. They were eventually booked into South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail.
An unknown male subject fell out of the ceiling in the men’s bathroom, at the Safeway located at 6850 NE Bothell Way, and then disappeared into the afternoon. There are currently no suspects in this incident.
A vehicle with expired tabs more than 45 days old was found to be parked in the public right of way, near the 6700 block of NE 185th St., and was impounded by Jim’s Towing.
July 30
A stolen vehicle was stolen during the night from a parking lot at the Coventry Place Apartments. It was later found by Brier Police Department.
A UPS deliver was stolen from a porch in the 7500 block of NE 201st Place.
July 31
A residential burglary occurred in the mobile home park located at the 7000 block of NE 181st Street. The occupant stated that the back door does not properly lock. Cash and other items were taken from the property.
A vehicle was entered along the 8000 block of NE 155th Street after the owner found the trunk open and pilfered. More than $250 in items were taken.
A male trespassed at Rhododendron park and was removed from the park by officials. Officers also confiscated marijuana from the subject as it is illegal to consume marijuana in public spaces.
Aug. 1
Packages were stolen from a front porch along the 7500 block of NE 201st Street.
A female was scammed into wiring $3,575 to Beirut in order to attempt to help her son.
Two females were contacted by Rite Aid, located at 18022 68th Ave. NE, after concealing alcohol on their person in an attempt to steal it. They returned the liquor when approached and left the store.
Two underage males were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after both were observed smoking marijuana within Wallace Swamp Park.
A male was arrested for DUI near the 5700 block of NE Bothell Way. They submitted to a voluntary blood draw, but no results were available.
A female was charged with an alcohol-related assault for hitting her husband. She was booked into SCORE jail under Assault in the fourth degree and domestic violence.
Aug. 2
Officers investigated sightings of a naked woman running around near Log Boom Park. They were able to make contact as a second caller had located the cloth-less female.
A male was found to be in possession of a stolen cell phone near the intersection of Northeast Bothell Way and 68th Avenue Northeast. King County Jail declined to book the suspect and the case has been sent to detectives.
A female was arrested for a criminal misdemeanor warrant and was transferred to Bothell Police Department for custody.
A female was pulled over and arrested near the intersection of Northeast 192nd Street and 80th Avenue Northeast for driving with a suspended license in the third degree, for an outstanding warrant, for possession of heroin (a violation of the controlled substance act [VUSCA]) and for possibly driving under the influence. Her vehicle was impounded until officers could obtain a search warrant.
Two people were separating after a five-year relationship when the female half got upset and broke something of the males. The incident was investigated as a vandalism.
A traffic complaint was made for the intersection of Northeast 192nd Street and 80th Avenue Northeast as, between the hours of 4 p.m. through 8 a.m. and again from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., many people are running the stop signs.
Aug. 3
Vandalism was found at Kenmore Elementary.
Two vehicles were reported as abandoned for the last six days near the 6700 block of NE 185th Street.
