Lockwood Elementary in Bothell is hosting a community wide carnival from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on June 7 to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
At 5 p.m. there will be a “Meet and Greet” with new 2013-14 families hosted by Principal Ann Madsen.
Enjoy happy memories, stories, seeing old friends and classmates. It will be a night to remember. There will be bouncy houses, cotton candy, ice cream, food booths, many carnival games, and loads of prizes- including a Nintendo DS! Walk through our Nostalgia History Hall and look for your teachers, friends, and younger self in old yearbooks and photos. Rub shoulders with awesome students, parents, staff, and volunteers who have made Lockwood a great school for 50 years. When the Space Needle went up so did Lockwood.
“Calling all alumni who attended as a student, taught, worked, or volunteered here, or are a friend of Lockwood Elementary School in Bothell during the past 50 years. We are looking for all Lockwood Leopards to come back home to the “Pride.” Lockwood PTA is hosting a very special 50th Anniversary Carnival and Art Walk. See your Alma Mater and how it has changed. Come join us and let’s party,” said Principal Ann Madsen.
The Lockwood Carnival is open to the community with Free Admission to all. Food booths will accept cash only. Small bills are appreciated. Please park at Kenmore Junior High and walk through the connecting pathway.
