Inglemoor High hung in there, but Juanita High prevailed, 24-17, in Friday night’s football opener at Pop Keeney Stadium.

The Viks rolled for the tying touchdown with about two minutes left in the fourth quarter, but Juanita snagged an interception in the end zone to seal the victory.

Highlights for Inglemoor were a Jerry Molina 66-yard punt-return TD and a 66-yard TD pass from quarterback Derek Wagner to Peter Meiusi.

Wagner finished 6-of-15 passing for 136 yards and Gunnar Milburn ran 10 times for 55 yards.
