Knights of Columbus in Bothell hold party for underprivileged children

The Knights of Columbus, Bothell Council 6686 held its annual "Underprivileged Children's Christmas Party" at the Bothell Hall located at 24323 Bothell Everett Highway on Dec. 14.

The Knights of Columbus, Bothell Council 6686 held its annual “Underprivileged Children’s Christmas Party” at the Bothell Hall located at 24323 Bothell Everett Highway on Dec. 14.

This event is held in support of underprivileged children from the local community. The Bothell Knights of Council 6686 worked in conjunction with the Northshore School District, Hopelink, and St. Brendan Church in Bothell. Over 60 children from 24 family groups attended the Children’s Christmas Party.

All Children were treated to a personal visit with Santa Claus and each received a toy or $25 gift card. Each guest was also given a pizza lunch courtesy of Uncle Peteza’s Pizzeria. Color photos were provided of the children and Santa.

Thirteen Knights and six helpers worked to produce this event. About 200 meals of pizza, cookies, apples and soft drinks were served to the guests.

This event was made possible due to the support of Uncle Peteza’s Pizzeria, GYL Construction, the Bothell Knights of Columbus Chapter 6686 who contributed to the success of this event.
