King County Public Health closed down Ikiiki Sushi in Kenmore for a number of reasons at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 4.

According to a release issued by the county, the food safety violations include potentially hazardous foods at unsafe temperatures, improper cooling of potentially hazardous food, inadequate facilities to control temperature of potentially hazardous food, foods not protected from cross contamination, equipment/utensils not properly sanitized and an imminent health hazard: sewage backup.

The establishment, located at 6512 Bothell Way NE, was reopened at 11 a.m. Oct. 10, after an inspector confirmed the issues had been resolved. For more information, visit kingcounty.gov/health/closures.
