McCarthy GMAC Real Estate has announced that it has joined Real Living, one of America’s most innovative and fastest-growing real-estate companies.
The Kenmore-based company also announced that it has changed its name to Real Living Northwest Realtors and — to celebrate its standing as the Seattle area’s first Real Living franchise — is holding a special charity fund-raiser as its first official event. The keynote speaker for the Dec. 1 event will be Kaira Rouda, founder of Real Living and the best-selling author of the motivational business book, “Real You Incorporated.”
The event is from 6-8 p.m. at Januik Winery, 14710 Woodinville-Redmond Road N.E. in Woodinville.
“Walk the Red Carpet to the Real You” will be an informative and free event and will focus on helping women discover their “real you” — Rouda’s theme in her popular writing and speaking events, which focus on empowering women and helping them to discover and build on their inherent strengths, in turn enhancing both their professional and personal lives.
“We are excited to have joined Real Living and the new energy it brings to real estate,” said Keoki McCarthy, broker-owner of Real Living Northwest Realtors. “When we began our search for a national firm several months ago, we resolved to find one that promised and delivered a new and energetic approach. We found a partner committed to our growth and success, and who offered something fresh and different to our agents and customers, while making the real-estate process smoother and more efficient,” McCarthy said.
“Our goal is to increase the size of our company by recruiting experienced agents who are looking for a company that offers innovative tools and systems, put passion back into what they are doing on a day-to-day basis and to help our agents enjoy their careers while balancing their professional successes with their personal lives,” he added.
The first 15 real-estate agents to register for the event and attend get a free, autographed copy of “Real You Incorporated: 8 Essentials for Women Entrepreneurs.”
The YMCA also will be represented at the event, and attendees are being asked to make a donation of $25, with proceeds benefiting the Y’s “Dress for Success program,” which helps women gain the confidence needed to find jobs.
Co-Sponsors of the event include Tina Mitchell of Cobalt Mortgage and Jennifer Kirk of Seattle Eastside Building Inspections. Different vendors ranging from real estate to wealth management will be present, and the event will feature a fashion show.
