Between June 17 and June 27, four thefts (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along with two assaults, four cases of vandalism, two counts of driving without a valid license, three burglaries, one threat and one trespass.
June 17
A citation was issued for driving with a revoked license.
June 18
Someone broke the back window of a house in the 18700 block of 73rd Avenue Northeast and stole two electric wall heaters.
June 19
Police responded to a report of a suspicious man lying in the road near Northeast 153rd Place and 81st Avenue Northeast. When they arrived they found a juvenile male who was ‘heavily intoxicated’ and hiding under a vehicle in a driveway.
June 21
Someone threw a large glass vase near a barefoot 6-year-old child during a domestic violence incident.
A bass guitar, case and amplifier were stolen from a vehicle parked along a road.
June 22
A man kicked in his girlfriend’s front door and was arrested later at his Lake Forest Park home on vandalism charges.
A customer in the McDonald’s drive-thru ordered around $25 worth of food but when they drove to the window said they only had $5, but told employees they needed to give him the food anyway.
A vehicle parked in the 18000 block of 80th Avenue Northeast was vandalized by a large rock.
June 23
Someone was stumbling around town high on methadone.
An unoccupied rental home was broken into.
June 24
A tool shed in the 18500 block of 73rd Avenue Northeast was broken into and tools were stolen.
Cocaine was found in a bag on the street in the 7400 block of Northeast 145th Street. It was collected by police for disposal.
A man was arrested for driving with a revoked license.
A woman reported that she was assaulted on June 21 along the Burke-Gilman Trail.
June 25
There was an attempted burglary in the 6400 block of Northeast 153rd Street.
June 26
Bricks were thrown at a parked car in the 19200 block of 63rd Avenue Northeast.
A brick was thrown at a car in the 5500 block of Northeast 193rd Street.
A man was trespassed from Rite Aid after shoplifting $10 worth of goods.
A home owner found a small bag of what appeared to be drugs in his garage which had previously been broken into.
A woman was arrested after hitting her 19-year-old son.
June 27
Someone gave money to a scammer over the phone.
An unlocked car had been entered and the suspect left an apology note… for stealing items.
