Kenmore Sheriff’s Blotter: Chemistry lab sold illegally, out of control 11-year-old prompts aid call

Between Dec. 7 and Dec. 14, three thefts (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along one assault, one burglary, three instances of driving without a license, and one instance each of trespass, vandalism, suspicious circumstances, a served warrant and a vehicle recovery.

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. Dec. 7

A stolen vehicle was recovered from Rainbow Towing after the homeowners association president requested it be impounded from Coventry Place Condos.

 

Dec. 8

Someone was driving with a suspended license in the 17700 block of 83rd Place Northeast, no arrest.

Guns and jewelry were stolen from People Storage after the burglars cut locks to get in.

 

Dec. 9

Another person was driving with a suspended license in the 16900 block of Juanita Drive, no arrest.

A condemned house on warehouse property had its rear door kicked in in the 7000 block of Northeast 175th Street.

A woman was arrested for driving with a suspended license on Northeast Bothell Way and 73rd Avenue.

A 51-year-old man walked into a backyard in the 8300 block of Northeast 156th Street before speeding off.

 

Dec. 10

The wife of a chemist sold a lab that was owned by her husbands employer, only to be charged with larceny.

Cameras were stolen from a Wildcliffe Shores residence.

Front and rear license plates were stolen from a parked vehicle near the 19000 block of 76th Place Northeast.

 

Dec. 11

A misdemeanor warrant was served at Lakewood Villa.

A woman was arrested on fourth-degree assault charges and taken to SCORE jail after slapping someone in the 16700 block of Juanita Drive Northeast.

 

Dec. 12

Police were present for a civil standby.

Someone was arrested for first-degree trespass from the 7750 Northeast Bothell Way Starbucks.

 

Dec. 13

Tires and rims were stolen from a car overnight from Coventry Place, and the car was left on wood blocks.

A mother called police to request help with her 11-year-old son in Asteria Place Apartments.

Threats were made over the phone, but the victim was not initially fearful until further unspecified details were brought to his attention.

 

Dec. 14

Someone was sitting on the edge of the road near Northeast Arrowhead Drive crying.
