Kenmore sailor works on aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman

Kenmore native Paul Moiter has been assigned to the “Red Rippers” of Strike Fighter Squadron.

Aviation Structural Mechanic 1st Class Paul Moiter, originally from Kenmore, has been assigned to the “Red Rippers” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 11.

On April 19, Moiter chained down a BRU-32 bomb rack in the hangar bay of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, USS Harry S. Truman.

The Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Sixth Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security.
