Kenmore residents invited to June 21 Northshore Summit Park meeting

The city of Kenmore has funding available in the 2012 budget to move forward on improvements outlined in the Northshore Summit Park Master Plan adopted by City Council in 2006.

The city of Kenmore has funding available in the 2012 budget to move forward on improvements outlined in the Northshore Summit Park Master Plan adopted by City Council in 2006.

Community residents and park users are invited to a presentation on the city’s next steps and to ask questions related to the proposed improvements at a meeting from 6:30-8 p.m. June 21 at Kenmore City Hall, 18120 68th Ave. N.E.

A brief presentation is scheduled at 6:45 p.m.

Proposed improvements could include playground equipment, picnic facilities and trails, consistent with the Parks Master Plan. The Northshore Summit Park Master Plan is available to view on the city’s Web site, www.kenmorewa.gov/parks.
