Kenmore is recognized as a Playful City USA and will host its 2011 Play Day from noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 27 at Rhododendron Park. Kenmore is one of 188 cities across the country recognized for its expressed commitment and willingness to take action for play. Kenmore is also involved with the Michelle Obama Let's Move initiative. The city will provide free hot dogs and drinks at the event, which will feature face painting and activities such as basketball, double-dutch jump rope, kick ball and more.
