The Kenmore Grocery Outlet, located at 7800 NE Bothell Way, is hosting a food drive for Hopelink from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 11.
Hopelink, based out of Kirkland, is a non-profit organization serving homeless and low-income people from all walks of life within the Eastside and Northshore areas. Last year, they helped more than 60,000 community members, including 1,000 with home owners assistance for people to keep their homes, and education to hundreds of adults seeking employment.
Grocery Outlet is hoping to fill the entire truck, enabling others to be independent from hunger and food insecurity.
