Keeping kids safe

The Northshore Fire Department recently graduated 14 students from its Safe Sitter class. Safe Sitter is described by the department as a medically accurate program teaching youngsters ages 11-13 how to handle life-threatening emergencies when caring for younger children. Participants also learn how to keep themselves safe
