The Arts of Kenmore is hosting the photographic art of Jan Viney at Kenmore City Hall, open Monday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., between May 8 and July 16.

In addition to the gallery at city hall, the Arts of Kenmore will have an opening reception, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., May 8.

Viney will be presenting “A Day in the Life of a Nature Photographer” at the reception, offering a behind the scenes look nature photography. The return of trumpter swans to Pacific Northwest valleys will also be included in the presentation.

Arts of Kenmore also hosts the Kenmore Art Show, held at Bastyr University, from June 24 through the 28. The deadline for art show submission is May 1.
