Inglemoor High School qualified 22 students for the Future Business Leaders of America’s (FBLA) National Leadership Conference held on June 27 in Nashville, Tenn. Ten of the students were able to attend the conference.
“It was our first year to include ninth grade into our chapter and we took three ninth-grade students to nationals,” said Ingelmoor FBLA adviser Jan Fitzgerald. “Out of the ten students, seven of them competed in teams and three competed as individuals. I am proud to say that the Inglemoor students put in countless hours up to their competition and were successful in just getting to state.”
Inglemoor’s Gary Wang took first place in Advertising, while Kaitlyn Zhou finished in fourth place during the Public Speaking II competition.
Other Inglemoor students who attended were Mannat Sukhija, Nisha Pradhan, Kiran Pradhan, Ashley Gilbert, Bill Zhao, Dilshawn Gamage, Joseph Tsai and Jenny Chung.
