Inglemoor High science department earns Intermec Foundation K-12 education support grant

The Intermec Foundation has awarded Inglemoor High's science department a $2,000 K-12 support grant. This is the third grant awarded by the Intermec Foundation to the high-school science department. “It was a collaborative effort by the science department in applying for this year’s grant,” said science teacher Sue Black. “The grant will be used to purchase new electronic balances and new spectrophotometer sensors for our Vernier LabQuest devices.” Previous grants purchased a high-quality replica skeleton, digital gel electrophoresis documentation system for taking digital photos of DNA gels and other lab equipment to enhance the science labs.
