The following is a release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:

Drivers on Interstate 405 between Bellevue and Lynnwood should prepare for possible delays Friday evening, Sept. 11, through Monday morning, Sept. 14.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between Northeast 4th Street in Bellevue and Interstate 5 in Lynnwood. These closures are needed to complete signage, striping and electrical work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.

Lane closures:

• Friday, Sept. 11, to the morning of Saturday, Sept. 12

o   Up to four lanes of northbound I-405 between State Route 520 and Northeast 70th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.

o   Up to four lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 124th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 160th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9:30 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 195th Street and State Route 527 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 9:30 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 85th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

• Saturday, Sept. 12, to the morning of Sunday, Sept. 13

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Southeast 8th Street and Northeast 4th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to noon.

o   Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Street and Northeast 124th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 124th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to noon.

o   One lane of northbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and State Route 522 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 195th Street and SR 527 will be closed from 7 p.m. to noon.

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 195th Street and I-5 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between I-5 and SR 527 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between SR 522 and Northeast 160th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 10:30 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and SR 520 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.

• Sunday, Sept. 13, to the morning of Monday, Sept. 14

o   One lane of northbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and SR 522 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between SR 522 and Northeast 124th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 70th Street will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 70th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and SR 520 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Ramp closures:

• Saturday, Sept. 12, to the morning of Sunday, Sept. 13

o   The Northeast 85th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from midnight to 3 a.m.

o   The Northeast 124th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m.
