The Heritage Christian Academy in Bothell will host an education event from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on May 28 for parents of students struggling in school.
The event covers everything from messy handwriting to reading comprehension and will feature speaker Howard Eaton.
Eaton has a life-long interest in education and learning challenges as a result of his own challenges with Dyslexia. He holds a B.A. in Psychology and a M.Ed. He has worked at UBC in Educational Psychology and Special Education, teaching courses on Learning Disabilities. Eaton is the founder of the Eaton Arrowsmith Schools, the Magnussen School and Eaton Cognitive Improvement Centers in Canada. He is also a renowned author.
The event will take place at Heritage Christian Academy, located at 19527 104th Ave. N.E. in Bothell.
