The Women’s Sports Foundation’s GoGirlGo! Seattle program has kicked off its seed funding of local girl-serving organizations by granting over $33,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Redmond/Sammamish, the Boys & Girls Club of Kirkland, the Boys & Girls Club Southwest and the Boys & Girls Club of South Puget Sound. GoGirlGo! is currently seeking grant applications from other local girl-serving organizations. GoGirlgo! offers organizations access to free award-winning curriculum, training, their Web platform and start-up funding. The easy online application is accessible July 19-Aug. 13. Funds will be distributed in September 2010. The application can be completed here under the grants tab.
