Six boards and commissions. Fourteen vacancies. Time to get involved.
The city of Bothell is seeking citizens to serve on boards and commissions that are advisory groups to the Bothell City Council. Hundreds of citizens have put in numerous hours throughout the years in their local government. From parks and recreation to landmark preservation, there’s opportunity for all.
“The chances to serve your community and meet new people are just some of the positive experiences by volunteering,” said City Clerk JoAnne Trudel.
As city clerk, Trudel oversees the board and commission recruitment.
“These groups are vital to city government and they give citizens more opportunities to comment on public-process issues that are specialized and especially interesting to them,” added Trudel.
