Free post-holiday recycling event in Bothell

As the holidays start to wind down, it’s time to figure out what to do with what remains of the Christmas tree.

Fear not, Bothell residents, the Eastside Foursquare Church is hosting a Post-Holiday recycling event, at the church on Jan. 10.

Items that can be recycled:

Christmas trees (no flocked trees and decorations must be removed)

Household batteries (no vehicle or motor batteries)

Grocery/plastic bags (clean and dry)

Styrofoam (clean and dry)

Broken Christmas lights (please remove all packaging, twist-ties and rubberbands)

CFL bulbs/tubes (no broken bulbs accepted)

Electronics (computers, laptops, monitors-LCD and CRT, cell phones, printers) No televisions accepted at this event. For more details on television recycling visit ECycle Washington.

Residents who can’t make it to the recycling event, can also mail in their laptop, tablet or smart phone for free. Click here to fill out the form to receive a free mailing label. All data is securely destroyed in compliance with all federal and state regulations as well as e-cycle Washington, R2 (Responsible Recycling) and ISO14001.
