IntoEdVentures, a nonprofit organization, is looking for host families for several high-school foreign exchange students hoping to spend the fall semester or next school year in Bothell and Kenmore.
The main requirement is that host families provide a bed and meals. The students all speak good English and come with their own spending money and insurance.
The students are:
• Terje from Norway, who hopes his host family will have a dog he can care for.
• Joo He from Korea, who hopes to play violin in the school orchestra.
• Kit from Hong Kong, who will cook Chinese food for his host family and currently does volunteer work with the elderly.
• Ana from Brazil, who would like to join a Catholic youth group.
• Sophia from Germany, who takes guitar lessons and plays in a Beatles cover band.
