The Northshore School District announced three finalists in the search for a new superintendent on Friday.
“We are pleased that we received an outpouring of interest from candidates across the nation. The three finalists are highly qualified and would each bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to Northshore,” said Board President Amy Cast.
Dr. Linda Quinn and Dr. Michelle Reid are both from Washington. Quinn is the superintendent in the Ferndale School District north of Bellingham, while Reid is the current superintendent at the South Kitsap School District in Port Orchard.
Dr. Adrian Talley is currently the executive director of Student Services for Prince George’s County Public Schools in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
The district invited the community to a public forum to meet the three candidates at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15 at the Northshore Administrative Center in Bothell.
The candidates are vying to replace outgoing superintendent Larry Francois. A decision is expected by this district on June 17.
