Blyth Park is offering citizens a chance to sleep under the stars with the Family Camp-Out, from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m., Aug. 22 to 23.
The family event will include activities, such as making s’mores or campfire singing. Food will be provided to participants, though families should bring a tent, sleeping bags, a flashlight and bug spray.
It’s recommended that those who plan on sleeping under the night’s sky also bring a tarp to put under sleeping bags so they don’t get damp from the grass.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required and spots are filling fast. The event is not free.
