The following is a release from EvergreenHealth hospital:
EvergreenHealth has announced the recipients of its Health Hero award for the second quarter of 2016. The Health Hero award is a recognition bestowed quarterly by EvergreenHealth to commend extraordinary providers, staff, volunteers and clinical teams across the health system for exemplifying the exceptional, compassionate care EvergreenHealth is committed to.
“It is an honor to work among compassionate providers and employees who dedicate themselves to delivering the highest quality, safe, compassionate care to every patient we serve,” said EvergreenHealth CEO Bob Malte. “The Health Hero award is just one of many ways we thank EvergreenHealth providers, staff, volunteers and clinical teams for providing exceptional care and service to patients and families across our community.”
The latest recipients are recognized for their outstanding ability and kindheartedness, as well as their commitment to the welfare of patients, families and the community. Each quarter, EvergreenHealth selects awardees in categories including clinical, physician, patient safety, organizational, volunteer and team. This quarter’s “heroes” are:
· Physician Hero: Sherman Lee, MD, EvergreenHealth Primary Care, Duvall
· Patient Safety Hero: Alyssa Ellison, Pharmacy
· Organizational Hero: Andrea Burkhalter, Hospice Home Care
