Events for retiring Conover and Bothell police-chief successor Cummings set for Jan. 27 and Feb. 1

The community is invited to join the city of Bothell in two events marking a transition at the helm of the Bothell Police Department.

The community is invited to join the city of Bothell in two events marking a transition at the helm of the Bothell Police Department. From 3-6 p.m. Jan. 27, there will be a retirement celebration for Chief Forrest Conover at the Eastside Foursquare Church (14520 100th Ave. N.E., Bothell). Then, from 5-6 p.m. Feb. 1, a swearing in ceremony for Chief Carol Cummings will be held at the Municipal Court (10116 N.E. 183rd St., Bothell).
