Education First looking for Bothell host families for Chinese students

Host families are needed for 36 Chinese students who are visiting Bothell July 17-30 with Education First´s Educational Homestay Program, a nonprofit organization.

Host families are needed for 36 Chinese students who are visiting Bothell July 17-30 with Education First´s Educational Homestay Program, a nonprofit organization.

The students’ ages range from 10-17 and they will be taking classes in downtown Bothell, participating in fun and educational local activities from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and spending nights and weekends as part of families’ homes.

Education First is the world´s largest international education company and its mission is to ¨break down barriers of language, culture and geography.¨ For 22 years, Education First has been providing this opportunity to the greater Seattle area in an effort to participate in international exchange, promote language learning, and cultivate lifelong friendships around the world. This year, a total of 450 students, ages 9-14, from China, France and Spain will be arriving mid-July to Bothell, Woodinville, Issaquah, Duvall, Monroe, Redmond, Bellingham, Bellevue and Olympia.
