Douglas Robert Pearson, a longtime active member of the Kenmore Community Club and supporter of the Arts of Kenmore, died June 21. He was 83.

He owned Pearson Income Tax Service for more than 20 years at the Bon Marche and was a race-car owner in the ’50s. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a 38-year member of the Kenmore Community Club.
