City of Kenmore to host community meeting regarding proposed interim use at LakePointe site

The community is invited to an open house and presentation at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at Kenmore City Hall (18120 68th Ave. N.E.) regarding the proposed three-year project to precast component materials at the LakePointe site as part of the SR 520 Bridge Replacement Project. Project representatives in attendance include: Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) SR 520 Bridge Project, property owner of Pioneer Towing, Kiewit Infrastructure/KGM and city of Kenmore.

Kiewit‐General‐Manson (KGM), the design/build contractor chosen by WSDOT for the SR 520 Bridge Project, is proposing to use a portion of the LakePointe property as a supplemental construction yard, with site preparation and maintenance, component construction and barge transportation to the SR 520 Bridge.
