Chan, Christopher, McAuliffe and Francois will speak at May 12 Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce luncheon

Education and regional economic development will be the topic at the May 12 luncheon of the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce.

Education and regional economic development will be the topic at the May 12 luncheon of the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce.

A guest panel will include University of Washington, Bothell Chancellor Kenyon Chan; Cascadia Community College President William Christopher; Northshore School District Superintendent Larry Francois; and State Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe, D-Bothell.

The luncheon will also include the presentation of the third-annual Chamber Ambassadors’ Student Scholarship. One local high-school student will be awarded $1,000.

The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Courtyard Hall in Country Village, Bothell. Check in and networking for the event will start at 11 a.m. This event is open to the public, space is limited and reservations and advance payment are required.
