Jumpstart’s Read for the Record, presented in partnership with the Pearson Foundation, will take place at Bright Horizons in Bothell, located at 19801 North Creek Parkway, on Oct. 4.

Read for the Record is an annual reading celebration that highlights the need for quality early education in America by mobilizing adults and children to set a record for the largest shared reading experience.

On Oct. 4, the facility will open its doors to the community from 4-5 p.m. to support the efforts of Jumpstart, conducting a reading, hosting fun activities and sharing the importance of developing a love of reading.

Snacks will be provided by the Lynnwood Whole Foods Market.

“Jumpstart’s Read for the Record is a call to action to Americans to recognize the importance of quality early education, especially for our most vulnerable children,” said Leeann Murphy, Center Director. “When children start behind, they tend to stay behind. Bright Horizons Early Education and Preschool is proud to support this campaign in Bothell.”
