BRIEFLY Rock Band 2 hits the stage

Let there be rock.

Let there be rock.

AC/DC declares this and so do the wannabe guitar slingers at Inglemoor and Woodinville high schools. From 6-9 p.m. Nov. 14, the Vikings and Falcons will be guitar heroes for a night during a Rock Band 2 tournament at Woodinville High.

Students from either school can attend the tourney with friends whom they want to be in a band with, or if they do not have a band already, students will be matched up to create a band of three or four musicians. The cost is $25 per band (includes one pizza and eight cans of soda).

There will be competitions in different levels: easy, medium, hard and expert. The victor of expert will win a grand prize of $200. Other prizes include T-shirts, gift cards (exceeding a $400 total value) and posters.

The schools’ Future Business Leaders of America students and Woodinville’s Game Crazy are holding the event.
