Bothell Veteran’s Day event set for Nov. 8

Bothell American Legion Post 127 will host a Veteran’s Day memorial service at 10 a.m. Nov. 8 at Bothell Landing. The ceremony is meant to honor all veterans, but bricks will be dedicated in the names of First Lt. Nicholas Madrazo and Cpl. Jason Bogar, both killed in Afghanistan this year.

Bothell American Legion Post 127 will host a Veteran’s Day memorial service at 10 a.m. Nov. 8 at Bothell Landing.

The ceremony is meant to honor all veterans, but bricks will be dedicated in the names of First Lt. Nicholas Madrazo and Cpl. Jason Bogar, both killed in Afghanistan this year.

The Bothell 380th Reserve Battalion will supply the color guard for the event. The keynote speaker will be Bothell Deputy Mayor Sandy Guinn. A reception will follow at the American Legion hall, 19213 Bothell Way N.E.
