According to the city of Bothell, 108th Avenue Northeast/112th Place Northeast between East Riverside Drive and Northeast 164th Place is expected to reopen soon, possibly as early as Wednesday evening.
The road has been closed for safety since the week of Jan. 16. Two trees fell at different times during the snow and wind, knocking down power lines. The power lines were restored, however, trees damaged during the storms continued to pose a risk to the safety of drivers in that area. City crews have been working with crews from Puget Sound Energy to assess and remove hazardous trees. Puget Sound Energy is expected to complete its work tonight and city crews will be working throughout the day tomorrow to complete the cleanup. An update will be posted at www.ci.bothell.wa.us and on the city of Bothell Facebook page when the road is reopened.
