A Bothell realtor locked herself in a bathroom of a home she was showing after seeing a man hiding out on the third floor.

The incident happened the weekend of July 12-13 at a new housing development off Bothell Way. The Northwest Multiple Listing Service sent out a warning to all real estate agents about the attempted attack. The warning said the woman was closing up the house and found the man hiding out on the third floor.

She ran into a bathroom, locked the door, and called police. She told police he beat on the door and tried to get in, according to police documents.

A sketch of the suspect was provided by an agent to the police and police are attempting to late the man.

If anyone knows anything, they are asked to contact the Bothell Police Department at 425-486-1254.
