The pedestrian bridge at the Park at Bothell Landing is closed for immediate emergency repair work. The repair work is scheduled to start Monday, Oct. 10, and crews hope to complete repairs and reopen the bridge by end of the day Friday, Oct. 14.
In the meantime, the detours remain in effect. For now, the only bridge across the Sammamish River in the downtown Bothell area is the 102nd Avenue bridge.
Trail users parking at the Park at Bothell Landing can get to the Sammamish River Trail via the sidewalk along State Road 522 and the 102nd Avenue bridge.
Another option is the Sammamish River Park parking area on the south end of the 102nd Avenue bridge. From that point, users can access the Sammamish River Trail if traveling to Woodinville or Redmond. For users intending to travel west, take the sidewalk along 102nd Avenue and then the West Riverside Trail to access the Burke Gilman Trail. The best option for trail users intending to travel west on the Burke Gilman Trail is to park at Blyth Park or Red Brick Road Park.
