Bothell and Kenmore-area school children will be back in class on Wednesday, as North School School district has announced it will be open as usual after two days of weather-disrupted schedules.
The district cancelled classes early on Monday morning due to snow, and after issuing notice of a two-hour delay for Tuesday, cancelled classes for a second day in a row because of road and power conditions.
Cedar Park Christian’s Bothell campus was closed Monday and Tuesday, but will reopen on Wednesday.
The closures also postponed the prep basketball schedule, as several games were postponed to Wednesday and Thursday.
UW Bothell was open on Tuesday, as was Bastyr University in Kenmore.
Bothell city facilities were also open on Tuesday, though Waste Management did not provide garbage services to the Bothell area on Monday or Tuesday. Customers may double up next week, if Waste Management was unable to service their location this week.
The snow may have also affected garbage, recycling and yard waste customers in the Kenmore area.
