Bothell High will host its first Night of the Arts Jan. 21. The general public, current students, faculty and prospective students are invited to come see a showcase of students in instrumental music, choral music, theater arts, visual arts and video production.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive in the Commons building by 6:45 p.m. (the doors will open at 6:30 p.m.) where they will receive a schedule outlining the various performances and demonstrations on tap for the evening. The event will run from 7-9 p.m.
The Northshore Performing Arts Center will be open so that visitors can enjoy free encore performances by the theater-arts, instrumental-music and choral-music programs, beginning at 7 p.m. with a special presentation of “Just Like I Wanted,” best-play winner at the 2009 Bothell High Dramafest One-Acts Festival.
In addition to the performances in the center, visitors will be able to visit classrooms for each arts program where they will see demonstrations by students.
The Bothell High campus is located at 9130 N.E. 180th St. For more information, contact choral-music instructor Sheri Erickson at serickson@nsd.org.
