Bothell bridge, lane closures set for Aug. 14

On Aug. 14, the city of Bothell alerts commuters that there will be lane closures on the 102nd Avenue Northeast bridge/State Route 522 and the Sammamish River bridge (vehicular bridge near Wayne Golf Course) due to scheduled structural bridge inspections. Citizens are asked to plan accordingly and take alternate routes, if possible.

On Aug. 14, the city of Bothell alerts commuters that there will be lane closures on the 102nd Avenue Northeast bridge/State Route 522 and the Sammamish River bridge (vehicular bridge near Wayne Golf Course) due to scheduled structural bridge inspections. Citizens are asked to plan accordingly and take alternate routes, if possible.

The 102nd Avenue Northeast bridge will be reduced to one lane starting at 9:30 a.m. for two hours (schedule subject to change). Flaggers will be present to control traffic flow in alternating directions. Delays may last up to five minutes. In addition, SR 522 will be reduced to one lane in each direction from SR 527 to Kaysner Way from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow for the 102nd Avenue Northeast bridge inspection.

The Sammamish River bridge will be reduced to one lane starting at noon for two hours (schedule subject to change). Flaggers will be present to control traffic flow in alternating directions. Delays may last up to five minutes.

These inspections are a part of regular Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) inspections.
