Kyle Horn, a member of Boy Scout Troop 574, Bothell, received the Boy Scouts of America highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout at a Court of Honor, May 4th.

The ceremony took place at Eastside Foursquare Church in Bothell. Many leaders of the troop and community were in attendance to honor Horn.

Horn organized his Eagle Scout project in coordination with King County Parks and Recreation to rebuild three benches at Bothell Landing and improve the landscaping. Horn joined Troop 574 in 2007 and has enjoyed scouting for seven years. Of the many fun memories, Horn’s top experience was taking a 12-day, 70-mile backpacking trip with eight scouts and three leaders, including his dad, at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
