Local agricultural producers are ready to expand their wholesale businesses and connect with buyers at the B2B Local Food Showcase from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 26 at 21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living, 13701 N.E. 171st St. in Woodinville.

The B2B Local Food Showcase will feature approximately 20 local farms and entrepreneurs who produce a diverse selection of fresh, seasonal and value-added foods — from berries and greens to beef and zucchini. All are produced in Western Washington and available for commercial sale and sampling.

The Northwest Agriculture Business Center (NABC) joins forces with 21 Acres to build a barrier-free, self-sustaining regional food system that fosters relationships and provides mechanisms to facilitate sales transactions between wholesale buyers and farmers — ultimately increasing the sustainability of local farms and getting healthy, fresh food to local residents and food-providing facilities.

This wholesale event will also mark the launch of 21 Acres Regional Food Hub pilot assisted by NABC. By visiting http://farmtotablewa.localorb.it, pre-authorized pilot participants may pre-order local farm products and collect their orders at the B2B Local Food Showcase or request larger orders for later delivery or pick up at 21 Acres Food Hub.

RSVPs for the event are encouraged at info@psfn.org.
