The King County Sheriff’s blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Northshore area that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. This police blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in the Northshore area.
Nov. 10
A suspect violated a no contact court order by calling the victim while overdosing on heroin.
A Kenmore government worker flagged down an officer in the parking lot associated with City Hall. The victim had an unknown person make changes to her Verizon wireless hotspot account.
Nov. 11
An unknown male suspect assaulted a person along 1600 block of Juanita Drive Northwest.
A suspect was cited at the scene and released after officers found the person to be driving with a suspended license.
Along the 6100 block of NE 181st Street, a suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant for driving with a revoked license. The suspect was booked into the Issaquah Jail.
While on a routine patrol, officers were dispatched to a construction site on the 1600 block of Simonds Road NE. The victim informed officers that construction workers had heard the sound of pellets hitting plywood laying nearby, the day before. Officers are investigating this as fourth degree assault.
Nov. 12
An officer responded to a call of fraud at the 160 block of 70th Avenue NE. The acting power of attorney reported the fraud for the victim.
An officer was called to Inglemoor High School after a student left after first period. The student did return by sixth period. The call was filed under mental complaints.
A suspect was booked into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) under a warrant for third degree theft.
A suspect was found to be driving with a revoked license with a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was released at the scene.
A group of juveniles were found shooting air soft guns at construction workers along the 16300 block of Simonds Road.
A juvenile was reported as missing or a runaway. The person has serious health problems.
Nov. 13
A citizen dropped off a non-functioning hand grenade, once used as a paperweight, with Chief Sether at Kenmore City Hall. The unusable grenade was placed into the fireworks locker in evidence storage for bomb disposal unit pickup.
Nov. 14
A parent found stolen jewelry in her son’s bedroom and reported it to the authorities. The suspect has many prior jewelry theft convictions.
Nov. 15
A suspicious vehicle was pulled over along the 7300 block of NE Bothell Way. The vehicle had all the Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) scrapped off. The suspect was released at the scene, but the vehicle was impounded by authorities.
A driver was arrested after a traffic stop for failing to transfer vehicle title within the mandated 45 day period.
Nov. 16
Two people were involved in suspicious circumstances, possibly an assault, however neither person is willing to provide facts of the incident.
A suspect was transported from Regional Justice Center (RJC) to SCORE for a Kenmore misdemeanor warrant.
Nov. 17
A pedestrian was involved in a hit and run in the 1750 block of 80th Avenue NW, near the Astoria Apartments. The victim reported minor injuries that occurred within the complex’s parking lot.
