The only chili cook off in the Northwest held in a funeral home is back for its 10th year.
The annual Bothell Chilifest will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 13 at Lifetime Celebrations by Washelli in downtown Bothell to benefit Hopelink.
Organizers will have 15 chefs prepare chili to compete for taste-bud approval.
Admission is free and open to the community, but organizers urge patrons to bring non-perishable food items or cash donation. Each $1 or food item donated gets a single vote for the People’s Choice award, so vote early and often.
Lifetime Celebrations by Washelli is located at 18224 103rd Ave NE in Bothell.
