Nearly seven weeks after the devastating Main Street Fire, the city of Bothell announced that the section of 102nd Avenue Northeast south of Main Street that was previously closed for safety reasons has reopened.

The owner of the Bothell Mall has hired a contractor to demolish the building. Demolition, while not yet complete, has removed a significant portion of the building, including the eastern-facing wall. This enabled the city to reopen 102nd Avenue Northeast to traffic.
