1 Green Planet will be at Canyon Creek Elementary School at 21400 35th Ave. S.E. for a community recycling event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The organization will accept computers, printers, electronics, appliances, water heaters, scrap metal, TV’s, bicycles, vehicles, BBQs, lawnmowers, fitness equipment, medical equipment, etc.

1 Green Planet, a local organization that collects recyclable items and uses proceeds from raw materials to fund local charities, suggests a $10 donation.

Please drain oil and gas from lawnmowers. No propane with any BBQ.

Donations are tax deductible with proceeds benefitting the Canyon Creek Elementary and Skyview Junior High PTA organizations.
