Snapdoodle Toys in Kenmore will host an introduction to birds for kids event from 10-11 a.m. on March 5.

Children 5-10 years of age can learn about bird mounts and songs as part of the program, which is presented by Eastside Audubon’s Youth Education Committee.

They will beat their “wings” to see how fast they can fly and examine feathers through magnifying glasses. After making a feather bookmark, children can join their parents to view the Great Blue Herons from 11 a.m. to noon at the Kenmore Park & Ride.
