Attendees at the Northshore Relay for Life event on Saturday will be attempting to break a world record in creating the largest human image of an airplane.
The event will be held from 1:45-3 p.m. on the softball field at Skyview Junior High School, 21404 35th Ave. S.E. in Bothell.
The organizers’ goals is to have 700 participants.
People can participate by being on a team for the Relay for Life event or by calling Patti Gable at (425) 770-3680 or Brenda Adams at (206) 550-9683.
Participants will be given a shirt and hat to wear.
The Relay for Life event begins at noon and will run all day and participants in the world-record attempt are encouraged to come before the attempt or to stay after to support the relay teams who are raising money for the American Cancer Society.
